Ashley came to Heartland with just a few weeks left before she delivered 5 beautiful kittens. Poor Ashley was a VERY young mother estimated at about 9 months and while she able to deliver the kittens she didn?t have much of a clue what to do next. She didn?t clean up the babies nor was she very happy about laying down for nursing in the beginning. A couple of the kittens had trouble latching on because she swollen from having so much milk. Fortunately after several days and a very worried foster mom she started to get the hang of it and has since taken care of other litters of babies. She is a real sweetheart and lives for canned food. She is very laid back and has definitely matured since she first arrived. She has learned to play with toys and enjoys brushing and petting. She could be a good lap cat for someone. She will snuggle when she is tired to whoever is laying on the bed. She also likes to play with her foster mom?s hair.
